Dronisos is spotlighting its alliance with Disneyland Paris in the field of permanent shows.

Orlando, November 2024 - At IAAPA, the must-attend event for the global attractions and entertainment industry held in Orlando from November 19 to 22, 2024, Dronisos is spotlighting its alliance with Disneyland Paris in the field of both temporary and permanent shows. Since 2018, Dronisos – a leader in the creation of drone light shows – has worked with Disneyland Paris to offer guests increasingly immersive and unique experiences. In a world where amusement parks continuously innovate in nighttime shows, Dronisos and Disneyland Paris continue to position themselves as innovators, regularly captivating audiences with spectacular performances that generate ever-growing excitement.

Iconic shows and a successful collaboration

With dual expertise—technological and artistic—this collaboration has led to daily drone shows at Disneyland Paris.

In 2018, Disneyland Paris enlisted Dronisos to reinvent its indoor shows with new drone technologies, marking the beginning of a series of bold collaborations, particularly for outdoor permanent shows.

Disney D-Light, the first daily drone show at Disneyland Paris, was created for the park's 30th Anniversary celebration, introducing for the first time illuminated drones above Sleeping Beauty Castle. This technological and artistic show, performed nearly 500 times over more than a year, quickly became a must-see for park guests. Designed to harmonize with various spectacular scenic effects and meet rigorous logistical constraints, Disney D-Light embodies a commitment to continuously push the boundaries of entertainment, providing guests with ever-more immersive and memorable experiences.

Following the success of Disney D-Light, Disneyland Paris and Dronisos extended their collaboration in 2022, establishing Dronisos as an Official Technology Provider. This renewed alliance reflects a shared commitment to innovation and extraordinary entertainment.

In 2023, Dronisos continued its alliance with Disneyland Paris by collaborating on an entirely new nighttime show dedicated to MARVEL Super Heroes, Avengers: Power the Night. Combining video projections, pyrotechnics, and a stunning choreography of 500 drones, this daily show captured the full power of the Marvel Universe, plunging guests into an epic experience worthy of Super Hero adventures.

International distinctions: testimony to success and creativity

In 2022, Disney D-Light won the “Best Live Show” award at Park World Excellence Awards, highlighting the innovation and creativity that drive both partners.

Building on this success, Dronisos and Disneyland Paris once again pushed the limits of possibility by setting a world record on July 14, 2024, for the largest aerial image of a fictional character created by drones. This new feat took shape as a spectacular tricolored Mickey Mouse head, composed of 1,571 drones flying in perfect synchronization.

A continuous quest for innovation to push the boundaries of entertainment

This collaboration is marked by an ongoing desire to innovate, constantly exploring new creative and technological possibilities.

The creation of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, introduced in January 2024, embodies the spirit of creativity and daring at Disneyland Paris, with the cutting-edge technology provided by Dronisos. This immersive show features over 500 synchronized light drones alongside a variety of scenic effects such as fountains, lighting, and video projections, all set against the iconic backdrop of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

In this ambitious production, illuminated floats inspired by the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade add an extra touch of magic. Dumbo's train with Mickey and his friends, Peter Pan and Cinderella's carriage come to life in the night sky, enriched with captivating details, such as sparks flying from Captain Hook's ship to simulate cannonballs or smoke rising from the train's chimney. These striking effects are made possible by pyrotechnic drones specially developed by Dronisos for this performance.

This show sets a new standard for immersive entertainment, showcasing the shared commitment of Disneyland Paris and Dronisos to constantly push the boundaries of what's possible in theme park experiences.
