Following a global tender, Dronisos' drone show system was chosen by the organisers of the Dubai World Expo 2020 to provide daily entertainment in the form of drone shows throughout the event. The French tech startup from Bordeaux will use hundreds of drones to light up the Expo.
Expo 2020 Dubai which opens its doors to the world on October 1st, 2021, will run for 182 days and will be the largest ever event in the Arab world. For the first time in World Expo history, each of the 195 participating countries will have its own pavilion. Expo 2020 aims to become the centre of the world for 6 months, bringing together 25 million visitors.

Using Expo 2020 as a springboard to accelerate its growth in the Middle East, Dronisos is opening an office in Dubai to respond to the rising demand in the region.
Serving as both a technical and commercial base, the Dubai office will allow Dronisos to cater to not only the UAE, but also other Gulf countries with high demand for drone shows such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
