French start-up Dronisos raised 2 million euros

‍Dronisos is a French start-up in the high-tech industry. With a lot of experience, good results and a big ambition, they gain investor confidence and succeeded in raising 2 million euro in June 2018.

Dronisos is specialized in the development of software capable of flying drone swarms. Shows made by Dronisos are truly innovative by combining drones and artists in order to provide a unique and unforgettable experience.

Thus, Dronisos already delivered permanent shows for many companies like Arlette Gruss, le Futuroscope. We also designed unique outdoor shows for big events like the opening of the southeast Asian games in August 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, the Gulf Cup in December 2017 in Koweït City or the opening of the  Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup in December 2018 which was the first ever drone show in India.

In 2017 after one year of exercise, Dronisos managed to realize more than one million euro revenue. The main goal of Dronisos is actually to become the leader in this industry by industrializing their production and obtaining a worldwide licence.

Thereby, with a lot of experience, good results and a big ambition, Dronisos gained investor confidence and then succeed in raising 2 million euro in June 2018.

The investor profile is really interesting. There are three investment funds, Aquitaine funds with Galia Gestion, Aquiti Gestion and also Expanso Capital the investment subsidiary of the Caisse d'Epargne Aquitaine Poitou-Charente. Two business angels also participated in this fundraising. Hervé Bertou founder of a PME named Systonic and Nicolas Béraud founder of Betclic, the leading website for online sports betting. These experienced and complementary profiles are very valuable for Dronisos.

Jean-Dominique Lauwereins, CTO and co-founder emphasize this ambition saying that "Drones and more generally robots, combined with artificial intelligence, will help change our world. We are very proud to participate at this level in this revolution. This first round of fundraising and the arrival of a new and experienced team will give us the means to realize our plans .”
